Teach within the public system of elementary schools, secondary schools, schools, universities and trades or technology institutes. The scripted lesson plans, high pressure teacher evaluations, state testing, and the nonstop barrage of experts reinventing the wheel actually started to drag me down. I´ve tried non-public faculties, state colleges, personal language schools, personal classes, working with adults, you name it. Sadly, where I’m, the teachers who cling to that awful objective script (gag me!) are those getting promoted.
No less than there I might earn the same amount of money and not have to worry about ELs, frontloading vocabulary, tapping into prior data, checking for understanding, authentic evaluation, advantage pay, and all the opposite crap that academics should put up with.
Anyway, bless the academics who’re in it; not only those who’re struggling, however the ones who’re successful. They will also settle for you or reject you, based on the out there jobs and the colleges that do the hiring.
