Student Activities & Services
The Honors College is committed to fostering a community that supports the diverse talents and ambitions of its students. On offer are a wide array of academic and cultural events including: lectures, film screenings, field trips, symposia, workshops, and social events.
Students are also encouraged to create clubs and organizations that fit their particular interests and needs. These clubs offer students the opportunity to explore hobbies, become involved in local and global issues, and practice and develop special skills. Whether clubs focus on the arts, government, writing, science, athletics, or an academic subject, the Honors College promotes active student participation in intellectual and cultural life on campus.
Peer Mentors
Participants in the Al-Quds Bard Study Abroad Program will be assigned a peer mentor from among the general student body at the Honors College. The peer mentor’s role is to help facilitate and ease students’ transition, both in terms of their studies at Al-Quds Bard as well as their broader cultural and social integration to life in Palestine.
