Program Costs
Below are estimated program costs for one semester at Al-Quds Bard. All billable costs (including tuition) are subject to change. Please note that these estimates do not take into account any financial aid and/or scholarships that may apply.

- Students are required to pay a $1,000 non-refundable deposit upon enrollment. The deposit is applied towards the cost of tuition. Study abroad scholarships awarded by Bard cannot be applied towards payment of the deposit.
- Tuition estimate is based on one semester of study during the 2012-2013 academic year. Actual tuition for subsequent academic years is likely to increase modestly. Bard tuition typically increases 3-5% each academic year.
- Students will be booked a seat on the required group flight from NYC. Participants are responsible for paying travel expenses to Bard College incurred as a result of participation in the required pre-departure workshop and for their post-program travel expenses from JFK after returning to NYC on the group flight.
- Students are responsible for covering the cost of all their meals, except for thos provided as part of any homestay.
- Students will be responsible for paying the cost of local transportation to and from the Al-Quds Bard campus from Ramallah.
- Personal expenses will vary by student based on person expeditures and needs. Students' main expenses usually include: international telephone calls, cost of cellular phone calls (cell phone is provided), internet use, toiletries, entertainment (eating/going out, concerts, movies, etc.), and any non-program travel excursions.
